The Workshop is a musically enriched environment with professional
musicians supporting singers in refining their art.
Students receive a weekly one hour private lesson working on songs and conducting skills, e.g. how to count a song off, how to end a song and, how to inform the band of key.
Then on Sundays from 4pm-7pm, at Bistro Yoffi on Chestnut St, the students perform their songs and ideas in front of a live and supportive audience.
Jesse teaches privately in a non-threatening supportive atmosphere.
He also teaches at the Community Music Centre
on Capp Street in San Francisco.
Focusing on vocal technique, basic theory, ear training,
vocal effects, improvisational ideas, singing through
chord progressions, mic technique, communicating with
the band, intros and outros, finding the right keys to
songs and arranging ideas to perform songs.
